GUILD MEMBERS ENTERTAINED AT WAIPUKURAU AFTERNOON
Miss E. Peacock, of Hollyrood Terrace, Waipukurau, entertained the members of St. Mary's Women's Guild and friends at an enjoyable. afternoon tea yesterday afternoon. On arrival the guests wandered round the garden, which was gay with beds of tulips, anemones,. and a variety of spring flowers, some choise pansies being much admii ed. About 30 guests were present After an amusing flower competitioii which; was w.on by Mesdames D. Eadu and^... O. Williams, afternoon tea, wai served in the living-room' and breakfasi room, which were prettily decorated with /iceland poppies, pansies and spring flowers. the. president of the guild thanked Miss Peacock for the enjoyable afternoon.
