FEARN—SINGLETON

A quiet wedding was solemnised at Christ Church, Pukehou, on Monday afternoon, October 4, when Mrs Gertrude Isabella Singleton, of Pukehou, was married to Mr Daniel Edwin Fearn, of Hastings, The Bev. Mr Hall officiated. Mrs Olsen pfesided at the organ. The bride, who was escorted by Mr F. Dagger, looked very becoming in a navy costume with hat to match. The bridesmaid, Miss Stella Singleton, the bride 's daughter, was attractively attired in a frock of lemon marocain with tonings of brown and hat to tone. After the ceremony a reception was held at Major Warren's residence. Mrs Warren received the guests. Later the happy couple left on a motor tour.
