Parkvale Men's Stableford Bogey"

Following is the result of the men's Stableford bogey played yesterday afternoon on the Parkvale links: — A. Simpson 36, Bees Davies 34, D. MacErlich 33, V. Plowman 33, L. Drummond 32, H. C. Cain 32, C. Henderson 31, L. Henry 31, W. E. Watkins 29, W. J. Carberry 29, C. D. Clark 29. The play-off in the bogey match tie of September 9 resulted in a win for A. Simpson. The play-ofl! in the medal round tie resulted in a win for V. Plowman. The draw for the Stableford bogey match on Saturday will be made at the club house. The club championship over 36 holes resulted in a win for B. Read, who defeated E. Rixon at the 35th hole, 3 and 1. At the nineteenth hole Rixon was five down aird squared the match at the thirtieth, but a couple of lapses after that cost him the game. Putting, driving and approaching competitions will be held during tho week-end commencing at 2,15 p.m.
