DEFENDED CIVIL CASE
Judgment for plaintiff was given in the Hastings Magistrate's Court by Mr J. Miller, S.M., at the conclusion of the hearing of a def ended civil claiin in which C. H. Cullen (Mr W. Selwyn Averill) sued W. F. Craig (Mr E. J. Hallett) for £63 13/3 for work on a building contract. Defendant paid into Court £32 i9/- and counter-claimed £10 Judgment , was given for plaintiff for £34 and £2 6/- costs. ' On the counterclaim plaintiff was non-suited, no costs being allowed.
