Ewes with Lambs Down in Price HOGGETS SHOW LITTLE CHANGE The small yarding of store sheep at Stortford Lodge yesterday cOnsisted chicfly of woolly wether hoggets and ewes with lambs at foot. Values for hoggets showed little change from last week's rates, but the ewes with lambs w;ere fully 1/6 a head easier yesterday. The best line, in which the lambs were very forward, brought 20/7, and lines where the lambs were late were as cheap as 15/-. Medium grown twotooth wethers in forward Order brought 33/-. Tho following values were made for selected entries: — On account of Mr. S. Wall, an entry of 58 medium grown fat and forwaTd two-tooth wethers, well-woolled, and in splsndid condition, sold at 33/-. An entry of 44 fair-mouthed ewes, with an equal number pf well-grown forward lambs at foot, realised 20/7 all eounted. On acconnt of Mr. P. Laacelles, an entry of 210 well-grown, woolly Kom-. ney wether lambs, in very forward order, brought 29/6. A pen of well-grown Eomney wether hoggets, well done and in forward condition, brought 29/7. An entry of 54 aged ewes, with 53 smaller-grown lambs at foot, being not in such good order as the previous line, sold at 18/6 all eounted. An entry of 92 medium to well-grown and well-woolled Eomney wether hoggets, in forward condition, sold at 29/-.
