The battleship Warspite, which will shortly be taking up duties as flagship of the Mediterranean Fleet, has left Portsmouth dockyard for Spithead for further trials. Th'e Warspite, whose refit cost nearly £2,700,000, taking nearly three years, has been equipped with entirely new machinery, extra armour protection, additional anti-aircraft guns and four seaplanes, with hangar.- The lay-out of the bridges, funnels and masts has been entirely altered.
