COMING-OF-AGE PARTY

Waipawa Evening WAIPAWA, October 6. A very jolly party was held at the residence of Mr and Mrs W. Adams, Great North road, Waipawa, last evening, given by Mr and Mrs Adams to celebrate tho coming-'of-age of their son Winston. Coloured streamers and balloons decorated the spacious dining room, where the floor had been cleared for dancing. Games and dancing passed the evening until, at a convenient interval, the guest of honour was presented with an outsize gold key, which was afterwards autographed by the company. Mr Adams, junr., was then accorded musical honours, to which he made suifable re* sponse. A delicious supper was served by Mrs Adams and the beautifully decorated birthday cake was cut, after which the games and dancing were continued until a late hour. Those present were Mesdames F.
