Mr Ray Hansard, of the Wellington branch of the TJnion Bank, has begun five weeks' relieving duty at the -Waipukurau branch in place of JIr J. M Erwin. who is on annual leave. Mr A. C. Twyford, borough engineer, Wairoa, is gpending liis annual leave in Christchurch. Miss D. Aucoll, Wairoa, is on a visit to Napier. Miss Thomson, North Clyde, Wairoa, was admitted to hospital on Wednesday after cutting a tendon in her wrist while cleaning a wiudow.
