TWO MAIDS ATTEND NAPIER BRIDE

WILSON— MACDONALD St. Patrick'a Church, Napier, was tlie scene of a very pretty wedding recently, the contracting parties being Molly, daughter of Mrs L. M. Macdonald, Carlyle street, Napier, and Mr F. E. Wilson, of Hastings. • The ceTemony was performed by the Rev. Father McKenna. The bride, escorted by her uncle, Mr L. Macdonald, wore an exquisite frock of silvery pink satin cut on classicaJ lines and finishing in a long train. The .deep neckline was softened by a frill and tiny buttons were arranged from neck to hem in front. The beautiful pink veil vras lield in place by a halo of silvery pink flowers. She carxied a sheathr of pink aruin lilies and hyacinths. . Attending ber were two sisters, Miss Gwen Macdonald, chief bridesmaid and Mrs R. Girvan, matron of honour. They were dressed alike in pink lace frocks with elbow length puff sleeves. The frqqks, tight fitting to the waist, flared oiii to. the ground, the neckline being Jinished witli velvet flowers.. They carried skower bququets of dark pink hyacinths, tnlips. and sweet peas.. Mr H. J. Milier, of Wellington, was best man, and the groomsman Mr N. Girvan. At'the wedding breakfast 140 guests were received by Mrs L. M. Macdonald, mother of the bride and Miss M. idreen, aunt of the bridegrooxn. Mrs L. M. Macdonald was dresspd in a black flowered georgette ensemble with tnlip bouqnet to niatch. . Miss Breen wore an ensemble of nigge'r byown matelasse with a bouquet of. crimson and wine tnlips. , The louhge was artistically decorated with daflodils and the tables were arraiiged with tulips and pink Iceland poppies. The 'flor.al work. of the wedding was beautifully done as a gift to the bridegroom by Mrs C. Clark, of Hastings*. 'The bride chose for her travelling out'fit, a smart tailbred dark grey costunie, with navy accessories, shpes and hat . td tone. Her beautiful fur stole was',the gift of the bridegroom. The happy conple left on a tour of the Sonth Islafld, by car.
