"THE GEEAT ZIEGFELD" TONIGHT. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's giant picture "The Great Ziegf eld, ' ' which comes to the Waipukurau Theatre to-night at 7.45, can be described in three words — world 's greatest entertainment. Chaileuging all competition, "The Great Ziegf eld" has more flrstrate cntertainment values crowded within its sixteen reels than any other picture labelled "musical" or otherwise. It has a ' triple-star treat — William Powell, Myrua Loy and Luiso Rainer — t'o tell a etory suggested by the career of Florenz Ziegl'eld, with Powell as Ziegfeld, Miss Loy as Billie Burke and Miss Rainer as Anna Held. Tho entertainment valuo becomes a Parade of Ziegfeld, for the cast also features such world-famous entertainers as Fanny Brice, the ruling American comedienne; Harriet Hoctor, whom Ziegfeld acclaimed the Pavlova of America; and Ray "Rubber Legs" Bolger, Broadway dancing star. Also through the story mareh impersonations of such memorable characters as Will Rogers, Eddie Cantor, W. C. Fields, Bert Williams, Nat Wills, Lew Dowsta/Ier, Lee Shubert, Joseph Urban, Irving Berlin, George White aud Gharles Prohman. The Springboks v. Hawke's Bay match will also be skown.
