A CAMPING IDEA

Tliere are quite a lot of "A" tents which have only oue door. This means that iu hot weather there is no through draught to prevent the tent from get- , ting stuffy. If your tent I.aa only one

door, a ventilator is quite easily made at the closed end by cutting a square hole ahout five inches square (or more "if the tent is a large one). You will have to turn the edges of the hole down and sew them to prevent them tearing. Then get a piece of tent material large enough easily to" cover the hole, and after sewing the edges of this sew it on fo the tent above the ventilator. At the bottom of the flap Bew on a tape at each corner, these can be tied to metal rings sewn on the tent. Then when you want some more air all you have to do is to roll up the flap. When tied down, it will keep out the wind and rain.
