MISS HELEAN WINS
Victory Over Mrs Morpheth at 19th MISS TOLHURST REMAINS Two more of tio Australian repreientatives attending tlie New Zealand ladies' golf championship tournament at W6iohiki were eliminated this morning when the quaTter-finals were played. Ideal conditions prevailed in every respect, the fairways being fast, the greens in perfect order and the weather beantif ully fine. The etacdard of play this morning flt high, and in every game first-class golf was witnessed. Chief interest lay j» the meeting of Mrs G. Hollis and the Australian, Miss E. M. Hutton and that between Miss P. Helean and Mrs S. Morpeth, anothcr member of the Australian contingent. In both instances ( the visitors were defcated after keen •ontests. The only Australian to survive to the semi-finals is Miss S. Tolhurst, vrfio meets the Hastings rcpresentative, Miss Helean, on Tkursday.
