School Cadet Corps n0 speciaused training

(By I'eleKruph-

WELLINGTON, Last Night. Artillery and Lewis-gun sections, which have been for some years parts of the Cadet Corps of 3econdfery schools, have been recently abandoned by the Defonce Department and are now to revert to infantry training, with, in some casesj 'signalling, photograpny and first'-aid work. •'In the past the best of the boys have been drafted into specialist corps, but we do not think that specialised training in certain branches is necessary," stated the Minister of Defence, the Hon. ' F. Jones, to-day. • ' The opinion is that such training is of little value, and our idea is that the tim# involved can be used for physical or some other form of training. ' '
