YACHT'S WORLD CRUISE

Nine-Months Voyage LONDON, Sept. 22. Tbe Westward, Britam's largest fourmasted auxiliary yacht, owned by Mr. Harold K. Hales, a London mercbant, may be in Sydney Harbour dunng tbe sesquicentenary celebrations. Tbo yacht will saii in November on a voyage round the world, outwavd by tbe Cape of Good. Hope aud homeward, by Pauanui, visiling Australia. Tbe voyage is expected to last nine tnontbs, Tbe Westward is preparing for it at Soutbend. Tbe vessel is of 2000 tons, and was built in Sweden in 1921 for tbeoAustralian grain trade. She made tbree voyages to Aus'tralia and lay for 10 years on a sandbank at Soutbampton. Sbe was about to be broken up when Mr. Hales bougbt ber for £3000 and reconditioned ber.
