Ball at Ongaonga.
Members of the Foresters ' Lodge held an enjoyable plain and fancy dress dance in the Ongaonga Hall. Bright music was supplied by Mr W. Te Tau's orchestra, and the floor was in excelient condition. Some of the dancers in fancy costume were: Mrs J. Vaughan, gipsy; Miss Ada Freemantle and Miss N. Carroll, Japanese girls; Miss Wevnham and Miss B. Nicoll, peaeant girls; Mrs F. Freemantle, gipsy; Miss A. Hutt, Gloria Stuart; Miss J. Stcvens, Elizabetli Barrett; Miss F. Ireland, tinsel lady; Miss P. Schalv, butter; Mrs T. Nicol, gipsy; Miss 7,.
