Messrs T. S. Ellingham and F. B. Ellinghanx have been re-elected as the Whetukura representatives on the vestry of the Ormondville Anglicao Chureh, Mr L. MeDonald, of the stafT of the Takapau railway statiou, who has been txansferred on promotion to Paekakariki, was, prior to leaving Takapau, enlertained at the Takapau Hot.el by a numbor of f/iends and business people. He was the recipient of parting token-s from members of the Golf Club and Tonnis Club, with botli of which he was cloaely associated during his stay in Takapau. Mrs J. Murphy, Miss Pedorsen and Mr Stewart Inglis spoko of the lielp Mr MeDonald liad been to the various sports clubs in Ihe district, and Alr Inglis in iiuiking the presen tation wished tlie guest of the evening all : happiness au'i succoss in lus acw sphero of y ork.
