ART UNION DRAW
Taradale Baths Committee The art union arranged by the Taradale and Greenmeadows Baths Committee was drawn in the Taradale Town Hall in the presence of the committee members of the Town Board and the general public, Mr J. B. Wainseott (in the unavoidable absenee of the Town Board chairman) aeting as supervisor. The police also were represented. The prize-winners were as follow: — First prize, £15.— No. 1442, Mr W. G. Park, Shakespeare road, Napier. Second prize, £5.— No. 1705, Mr E. Coe, Napier. Five prizes of £1 each. — 2489 "M.R.N.," Havelock North; 2921, W. R. Hunt, Burness road, Greenmeadows; 1663, R. P. Langley, Taradale; 1471, E. Sharen, Bag '.9, Putere; 2554, "R.N.," Havelock North. Mr Wainseott spoke a few words in appreciation of the good work of the baths committee and the prospects aliead for an early completion of the scheme. Mr J. A. Wilkinson. secretary, acknowledging the chairman 's Temarks, : thanked the sellers of tickets and others who had assisted, also the police, and all who had tried to help tbe movement along.
