It was decided that tho next couferonre should he bcld at Christchurch in tho last weok of Septembcr, 1939. Tho election of officers rosulted: — President, Miss Mildred Trent (Christchurch); secretary, Miss F. E. Cooper (Christchurch); treasurer, Mrs. E. McNair (Auckland). Miss Alice Basten was re-eleeted honorary auditor, Tributes were paid to the memories of tho late Dr. Ada Paterson and of the late Miss Pattrick, former Director of Plunket Nuraing in kfew Zealand,
