(By Telegiaph-
NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night. An emphatic denial to persistenfc rumours that there was cousiderable iriotion in the All Blaelts' cainp before the third Tcst and that it was toyich and go whether the New Zealand tearn would , take the field right up to the iust minute "vvas given by J. L. Sullivan, a member of the team, to-day. "I can state definiteiy that there is no truth in the rumours, as the ' spirit of the team offi the field was wonderi'ui," said Sullivan. "In faet, if it had had anything to do with the r«suit we would have won. It has never been my privilege to associate with a team who pulled so well together. "I have heard many rumours, and they are all ridiculous. Naturally, there was a little disappointmen|> among the players omitted from the final selection, but they all took it splendidly." The rumours concerned are many. One is that the players were so disguBted with the final selection that they reftised to ta-ko the field unless alterations were made and that only continual persuasion made them change their minds just before the match.
