HOME LEAGUE MEETINGS HELD IN HASTINGS
The Hastings Home League members .have enjoyed some interesting meetings recently, Mesdames Nxelson and Price being in charge for a month. Each week members were entertajned with a different speaker, the spiritual meeting held on the first Wednesday of the month was taken by the Rev. C. B. Boggis, the following week the Rev. Johnson and JVlrs. Johnson were present and Sister Lillion Evans later gave a health talk. Mrs. Hiekmott gave a splendid afternuon on temperauce worn. Rnce, aua later Aunt crwen, of sang some deiigmiul songs. Aunt Gwen tiaoose fOr her ui'si. song "The Old Cnurch Clioir," and as an encore 4 'Lovej Lit'e " and ( Laugirter," ilrs. JSeare playing thp accympamments.
A recitation, '.The Way to Heaven," was' given by Mrs. Neiison,- and, anotker recitation by Rat tomith. Mrs. L.ygett gave a vbc-ar solo. Aunt dwen Mrs. fcjeare and Mrs. Lygett each received a beautiiul bouquet presented by Uttle Hat iSmith, Major Marshal thankuig the performers for coming along and heiping to make the afternbon so enloyable. A competxtion was won by oue of the league members, and the meeting cltised with the. sihging. of the iiymn ''Abide With Me," followed by prayer.
