RED CROSS CERTIFICATES PRESENTED TO WINNERS
At tlie -vreekly meeting of the instruction class of the Hastings JRed Oross* Society, opportunity was taken to present the certificates and medallions won by those who competed in the Red Cross hoiho nursing examination. After congratulating the members on their excellent work, the secretary called upon Mrs. H. B. Knight to qiake the presentation on behalf of the eommittee and those receiving certiiicates and medallions ivere as follows: — First year,- konoura certificates, M,isses 1. "Ware, E. Fulford, O. Haunah and I. Spence. First year, pass certificates, Misses E. Craigie, S. Tyers, Y. Scollay, H. Rush^ J. Renouf, L. Thompson, L. Hunter, M. Mitchell, J. McLean, L. Farmer, M. Epps. Second year, honours certificate, Miss I. Brown. . Third year, medallions, Misses J. Darvell, E. Frame, H. Gibb, P. Bae,' N. Sigley and Mrs. M, Robson. . Fourth yeari first bar to medallions, Mrs. L. T. Roberts and Miss E. Taylor. At a social evening later in the year, it is proposed to present the H. ,.T. Grieve Challenge Ctip for tho best result in home nursing to the winner, Miss P. Bae. At this gatherinjj opportunity will also be taken to present the certificates, medallions and W. B. Hohbs Challenge Cup to the respective winners in the First Aid examination to be held on October 12, the evening prior to tlie public lecture by Mr Lewis de Gielgud in the Hastings Assembly HaU.
