CRICKET IN HASTINGS
United Club's Annual Meeting The annual general meeting of the Hastings United Cricket Club was held on Monday, Mr O. Shattky being in the chair. -The treasurer's report showed a small profit on the year's work. The following officers were elected: Patron, Mr H. B. Poppeiwell; president, Mr D. Donovan; vice-presidents, Messrs H. Claughton, G. Luttrell, T. McJlardy, O. Griffiths, H. Hariey, T. Dunn, G. Mitchclly chairman", Mr O. Shattky j secretary and treasurer, Mr H. rSwa'llow; club captain, Mr O. Shattky;' sclection committee, Messrs A. Mahoney, J. McNab and O. Shattky; management committee, chairman, secretary, Messrs J. McNab, A. Dunn and S O'Neil; deiegates to the sub-associa-tion, Messr^s A. Mahoney and H. Swallow ; eustodian, Mr C. Brimmer. For the incoming season the subscriptions were iixed at 10/- for senior members and 5/- for members under the age of 21 years. Four new members were elected. The hrst practice was arranged for to-morrow. An honorarium was voted to the secretary and treasurer. -The deiegates to the sub-associatioii Were mstructed to vote for two-day matches thnoughout the season.
