(Eeeeived 28, 2.15 a.m.) EDMONTON, Sept. 27. • Averting the possibility of the Lieu-tenant-Governor refusing to eign the revived Bank Act, which earlier was disallowed by Ottawa, the Alberta Provincial Government ha? abandoned the Bill, substituting a resolution stating its intention to enaet legislation at the first opportnnity. The proposed Press Control Bill would compel newspapers to divulge all SQurces of inf ormation and furnish equal space in any position for a reply to any criticism of the Government. " In the Legislature Mr D. M. Dnggan, Conservative leader, alleged that the Bank Act resolution wa? sedition and disregpeetful to the King. Member? were not privileged to support a resolu' tion defying the Dominion authority. The Speaker ruled that no disrespoct was intended.
