AUCKLAND, This Day. Mr R,. F. Malfroy, of "Wellington, has been appointed manager of the Bank of New South Wales at Auckland to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Mr F. D. McGovern Mr Malfroy was acting-ixx aua per during Mr McGrovern's illness He lias been manager at Stratford and Hastings and, was for nine years in Australia, where latterly Ixe was ixxanager of the King and Georgie street branch at Sydney. He returned to New Zealand this year. and was appoiiited as-sistant-inspector. He is an imcle of Malfroy, the New Zealand tennis player.
