DESERTERS SURRENDER

Spaniards in Britain damaged destroyer sails (Received 27, 11.50 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 26. Twelve more, including officers, who deserted from the Spanish destroyer Jose Luis Diez, which put in to Falmouth after being damaged.in an aerial attack, voluntarily surrendered at the Falmouth police station. Others were arrested while sleeping in the woods. They all declared that they disHlted the new commander, were tired of war and were willing to go anywhere but Spain, where tbey had to fight their brothers.
