(By Telegraph

(Received 29, 10.40 p.m.) NANKING, Sept. 26. Chinese children in refugee camps have sent an appeal to Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret Rose. The appeal reads as follows: — "Dear Honoured Princesses: We have heard of the British kindness to the children of Bilbao. Although we cannot talk to you about war and politics, as you are Royalty, we ask your SeTene Highnesses to give this message to your people who, we know, will help us. "Most of us have lost our homes, and many of us have lost our parents, brothers and sisters. We are living in camps, and are providcd for by the City Fathers. But many thousands of children are living in alley ways, begging for food. They will suff-er much when winter comes. They need clothes and blankets. Can the British children help us?" "We hope that you will not be angry at our request; you are great and lcind. ' ' May your illustrious House reign for 10,000 yeaxs. "
