Rail-Car Hits Motor

MASTERTON, Last Night. Two Masterton residents, Douglas Holland and Samuel Claude Allen, were admitted to the Masterton ^ Hospital yesterday afternoon suffering from head injuries they received when their motor-car was struck by a southbound rail-car at Wilton's level crossingi, Clareville. The aceident occurred about 4.30 p.m. Altbough visibility at the crossing is good, the occupants of the mo-tor-car state that they did not see the rail-car, which struck the front portion of' the car heavily, damaging it extensively. Only minor damage was done to the front of tbe rail-car, which proceeded under its own power. The injured men were attended by Dr. Wells and taken to hospital. Their eondition to-night was reported to be satisfactory.
