There was a large attendanco of outside buyers from Waikato, Gisborne and Hawke's Bay at yesterday's Cattle Fair at which was oifered a yarding of approximately 1500 liead. Bidding was kee» and spirited. All lines were sold under. thq hammer, qnd outside buyers operated freeiy. The following is a range of the priees realised Cows £ 2 5/- to £10 16/-, P.A. cows £5 2/6 to £6 12/10, fat P.A, cows £7 to £7 15/-, fat H. cowg £9 to £10 2/6, keifers £2 to £5 17/0; P.A. yearling heifers £ 2 19/- to £3 19/-, P.A. hcit'ers £3 to £-L Hereford heifers £3 18/r to £5 14/-, 2-yr heifers £5 7/6 to £5 J8/-, Jersey heifers £2 5/-, calves 16/-, weaners £1 6/- in.s, yearlings £2 15/-, steerg £1 15/- to £8 16/-, yearling steers £2 10/-, to £6, 2-yr steers £3 15/- to £4 15/-. P.A. 3yr steers £8 5/-, Jersey steers £3 2/6 to £4 10/-, yearling Hereford steers £4 10/- to £5 5/-, bullocks f£5 7/6 fco £9 15/-, grey mare £22.
