BORDER TENSION
Toncoso Removed to Brest HENDAYE, Sept. 23. Tn the hope of easing the FrancoSpanish frontier tonsion, General Toncoso has been transfcrred from Bordeaux under polioe guard to Brest, but the Spanish Nationalists havo rofused entry into Spain of the French consul at Saragossa. France has protested strongly to the nUthorities at Salamanca against the detention of the French consul at Malaga and has ordered tht such action should be discontinued immediately.
