Colonel Llewellyn Partridge, D.S.O., A.D.C. to the King, on his arrival- in Sydney, said that the people of Eng- 1 land are not at all keen for the King to have a son and heii, He added: "I think that in one way it would bo rather a tragedy if tho King did have a son. 1'rincess Elizabeth is immenscly popular, and is generally accepted as being the suecessor to the Throne. King George VI. has been a hundred times more successful than even the most optimistic people had foreseen. Rumours concerning his health are quite untrue."
