TERRORIST GAOLED
Italian Arrested in France PLOT INSTIGATED BY FRANCO (Received 25, 8.45 a.ru.) PARIS, Sept. 23. An Italian terrorist named Gardella was sentenced to tliree years' imprisonment for attempting to blow up the froutier tunnel at Cap Cerbere, and two missing accomplices .were each sentenced to five years' gaol. Gardella said that an agent of the Spanish rebel leader, General Franco, empyloyed hira to do the job and supplied him with an Italian passport. He believed Italy was involved in the plot.
