(Received 25, 12.30 p.m.) PARIS, Sept. 24. Official eireles are considerably less opliinistic than before about the outI \;0'.ne of couversations between M. Dclbos, Fiencli Foreign Miuister, and Signor Bova Scoppa. The Italians apparcntly have sought to use the couversations to strengthcn Signor Mussolini'a hand i'or his negotiations with Herr Hitl6r. M. Delbos flatly refused to issue a communique which Siguor Bova Scoppa desired, whereupon Ihe negotiations euded with M. Delbos again warning Italy against trifling with France or sending more troops to Spain. A British Official Wireless message reports that instructions have been sent to the British Charge d'Affaires at Rome to tell Couut Ciano, Italian Foreign Miuister, that the Government has been fully informed of the conversations at Geneva between M. Delbos and Signor Bova Scoppa and to explain that the Government is in full agreement with M. Delbos 's proposal that steps should be taken by means of tripartite discussions between the British, Freneli and Italian Govern•ments to deal with the problem of intervention in Spain. Meanwhile, according to a Eorne message, ainidst the checrs of thousands of Fascists and shouts of "Como back soon," Signor Mussolini drove through beflagged streets to the station, where he entered a bullet-proof train to travcl to Germany. A special Bodyguard of Fascist musketeers was drawn up in the station precincts. Military planes escorted the train from the station. The train will stop the night in Italian territory to enable Signor Mussolini to take eight hours' sleep, and will arrive at Munich at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
