WELLINGTON, Last Night, To land the second officer, Mr G. M, Sehofield, who was suddenly taken ill the Union Oompany's Kaikorai, en route from Napier to Newcastle in ballast, put back to Nelson, and on its arriving the officer was sent to hospital. The second officer of the Kartigi, Mr Edwards, flew from Wellington to join the Kaikorai in Mr Schofield's place, and the ship is expoct.od to resume its voyage to-niglit. The Kaikorai passed tlu-ougli Oook Btrait yesterday afternoon, so ifc was well out into the Tasman before it ^ tarned back.-
