V « "Black-out" to Cease

GENERAL INCONVENIENCE (Eeceived 24, 8.45 a.m.) BEELIN, Sept. 23. Scheduled to continue until September 26, the "black.out" at night in connection with the air-raid manoeuvres was unexpectedly called .off at , six o 'clock this morning. There has been great public resentment owing to the general inconvenience caused. General Goering declared to-day that the decision was due to consideration for the business people, and as a reward for the model behaviour of the population, as a result of which the "blackout" had been a great success. One person was killed and six injured in collisions between trams and private cars, due to the darkness.
