MAKOTUKU, Last Night. A spring bulb and flower show was held at the monthly meetiiig of the Makotuku Women 's Institute. The competition for the best Victorian posy wa3 'won by Mrs. Little with Mrs. Burnett 2. Best-arranged bowl of flowers. — Miss Mildon I, Mrs. W. Mildon 2, Mrs. Palmer 3. There was a good display of blooms in the flower show, both in quality and' number. The judge was Mrs. H. R; Benbow, of Ormondville.
