WAR RELIEF COMMITTEE
A meeting of tbe Hastings committee of tbe Hawke's Bay War Relief Association was held on Tuesday. Present: MessrsMessrs F. J. Hull (in tbe ebair), L. J. Mackersey and P. J. Priest. Leave of absence was granted Messrs W. Hart and P. Perrin. Eifty-two returned soldiers' casos were considered and assistance was granted in various ways, ineluding grants amountine to £39 7/6 and loans £44 -10/% -
