Hugc Volume of Road Traffic Expected WARNING TO MOTORISTS Eoads between all parts of Hawke's , Bay and Auckland are expected to carry a liuge volume of traffie on Saturday, when several hundreds of football enfliusiasts from the province will be travelling to Auckland to witness the f;hird and deciding Test between New Zealand and South Africa. Traffie authorities 011 the routes to Auckland, in co-operation with the patrol officers of the various .autonlobile assoeiatious in the district coyered, have made special arrangements to control the influx of motorists, A wiirning to motorists to use the otmost caution was issued this morning by the seeretary of the Automobilo Association (Hawke 'b Bay), Mr E. M. Gliadwiek, vvho stated that in .view of tlie heavy traffic that will be eneountered on roads north of. Hawke's Bay during Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, motorists woiild do w.ell to proceed with cau'tion. It is probable that patrol officers from the various assoeiatious will be allocated portions of the roads between Taranaki and Hawke's Bay and Auckland, to be responsible for the smooth running Of the traffic, in addition to the usual- road scrvice to association members.
