Education Board Chairman Inspects Schools The chairman of the Hawke's Bay Education Board, Mr G. A. Maddison, aceompamech by Mr W. L. Dunn, seeretary to tlie board, passed tlirough Gisborne on Monday en route to tlie East Coast, where he is making inspections of various schools. The Makarika, Ruatoria, Waipiro Bay and Te Puia schools were included in the itinerary for yesterday, and last night Messrs Maddison and Dunn mc»b the committee of Te Puia School to discuss improvements to the school and grounds. Tlioy will also meet the Waiapi! Hospital. Board to deal with a proposed exchange of land with that body.
