Miss Phyllis Clark, whose marriage to Mr Erie Stiles takes place early next month, has been the guest of honour at somo jolly gift parties given by her friends. On Tuesday evening Mrs S. Peterkin was hostess at a kitchen evening beld at her residence in Racecourse road, Waipukurau. Mrs Peterkin received her guests wearing a smart model g,own in navy and white check tafFeta, Ihe guest of honour chose a becoming iTock in golden brown silk. The drawing room was brigiit with spring flowers, and tho evening passed all too quickly with games, coinpetitions aud danciiig.
