WELLINGTON, This Day. An announcement that he intonded giving a bivthday gift of £5 5/- to the mother of the first baby born in a State-owned house was made yesterday by the Under-Secretary in Charge of Housing, Mr. J. A. Lee He eaid he did not know whetlier to call it a Stork Derby or "the Oaks. but he stipulated that the mother should be a bona-fide tenant and not a visitor.
