The monthly meeting of thc Ormondville Women 's Institute w.as held in the supper room of the Peace Memorial Hall. Mrs H. B. Benbow presided The president proposed a vote of sympiTthy with Mrs Smith in the loss of ker sister. lt was stated that the reeent children 's fancy-dress ball had been a pronounced succcss. A competition for a sponge roll with iilling, was won by Mrs H. 11. Benbow, with Mrs E. Cload 2 and Mrs W. A. Trask 3. A competition for the bestdecorated vase of llowers, own grown, was won by Mrs H. R. Benbow, with .Miv? J. Ilowes 2 and Mrs Smith 3. Afternoon tea was dispensed by the hostcsses, Mesdames J. Howes, Andorson and O. Hill,
