Opposition from Egypt ATTACK ON PLAN AT GENEVA (Eeceived 20, 8.45 a.m.) GENEVA, Sept. 18. A feature of the session of the Lear gue Assembly to-day was an attack on the British Palestine plan by the Egyption Foreign Minister, ' Boutros Ghali Pasha. The Minister deelared that it wonld increase the hatred between the Jews and the Arabs. He also expressed tho fear that the creation of a Jewish State would encourage "certain eountries',' to intensify pogroms aganst the Jews. Boutros Ghali Pasha suggested that instead of partition Britain should no» gotiate a direct treaty with* Palestino as a whole, recognising its sovereignty,' guaranteeing the rights of Jews, Moa* lems and Christians alike, and regulatf ing the restriction on immigration.
