— ■■ ' m 9 Sesquicentennial of New South Wales . An invitation for a contingent . oi' New Zealand Returned Soldiers to visit Sydney during the celebrations attending the sesquicentennial of New South Wales in April of next year has been received by the Hastings R.S.A. from the Returned Sailors' and Soldiers' Imperial., League of Australia. Although this was received. only a few days ago si£ members from Hastings intimated that tliey would join tho contingent. Provided a sufficient number uf applications are fortbcoming, • the Maunganui will be reserved for the trip, leaving Wellington on April 19 and arriving back on May 2. Special reduced fares will be charged, aud full particulars may be obtained from the secretary, Mr V. A. Thomson, before next Friday. The trip is limited to ex-soldiers of the N.Z.E.F., who are .members of the Returned Soldiers' Association.
