After th© running of the Kingsland Hurdles, the judicial coinmittee held an inquiry as a result of the rider of Englishman (Trillo) weighipg iu without a breastplato. It was deeided to distance Englishman and award second place to Lady Ruler and third place to Thespis. Trillo was fined £1 for carelessness.
