(Received 18, 11.40 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 17. Sir James Barrie, tlie Seottish dramatist, left £173 467. He bequcathed £30,000 to Lady Cynthia Asquith, his secretary, and also the rights of his plays and books exccpt those of "Peter Pan," which have already been assigned to a hospital for siek children. Sir James left £3000 each to his brothers, and £2000 to Miss Elisabeth Bergner, creator of the part of the Boy David, "for the best performance ever given in my plays." Numerous other bequests include £6000 to Mr William Winter, and £500 to the New Zealand Victoria Crossholder, Colonel Freyberg. Lady Asquith and Mr Peter Davies divide the residue of the estate. Sir James bequeathed £10(10 and an annuity of £600 "to myt doar Mary Cannon, with affectionate xegards." She was his former wife.
