AIR-RAID ON VALENCIA
People Unconcerned at ' Barrage ONE MACHINE SHOT DOWN (Receivfid 17, 8.45 a.cn.) VALENCIA, Sept. 16. The Spanish insurgents carried out an air raid on Valencia to-day. A barrage by anti-aii'craft guns preveuted tho planes from Teaching the centre of the city. Oue machine was brought 'down. The crowds eheer.ed as the searcfclights picked out the raiders in a sky full of bursting sliells. People promenaded the streets during tho raid. utterly unconcerned. Two insurgent jilanes, it is rcported, were brought dowu at Huosca.
