Dominion Honours at Rotorua "300th PERF0RMANCE"

ROTORUA, Last Night. Napier Repertory Players, A aeetion, who presented the "Three-hundredth Performance," secured first place in the Dominion Pestival "Of Drama at Rotorua to-night, The judges stated that the margin of points between the teams that competed was very small. The winners gave a very finishetl performance thrpughout. The other teams were the Palmerston North Little Theatre Society (' 'A PriVy Council ") and Dunedin Repertory Players A ("Bamboo"). Tha judge* were Miss Elizabeth Loe, tutor to the British Drama Leagtxe (New Zealand bramch), and Mr W. S, Wauchop, of Wellington. The only indicatxon of the relative merits of the teams was the seiection of Napier as presenting the bept performance, no announcement being made regarding points or seconS and third places.
