REPUDIATION CHARGE
Miners' Claim for Six^Hour Day (Received 16, 10.50 p.m.) NEWCASTLE, Sopt. 16. Tho Brolcen Hill Proprietary Company lias issued a statement announeing its refusal to consider claims for a six-liour day in tho meclianical collieries and describing the miners' demands as "repudiation in its very worst form" of tho agreement reached last month between the eoal-ownere and the Miners' Federation.
