DISPOSITION OF BRITISH SHIPS

(Received 16, 8.45 a.m.) RUGBY, Sept. 14. The present disposition of the British Mediterranean Fleet is that the second destroy er flotilla is in the Western Mediterranean with half of the sixth destroyer flotilla. The other half of the sixth destroyer flotilla — normally the Home Fleet flotilla — is on the north coast of Spain. There are two other destroyer flotillas in tho Mediterranean Fleet which have boon ougagod in carrying out their normal Mediterranean eruises. It is possiblo that these numbors may ovcn bo reinforced by moving tho half flotilla on tho north coast of Spain to tako part in tho anti-piracy patrol. A Press Association message says tk® •Admiralty announces that ten more warships, comprising the Ught cruiser Cairo and the fourth destTOyer flotilla, are proceeding to the Mediterranean to join the anti-piracy patrol.
