'AUCKLAND, This Day. Draft regulations for the control of tramway tralfic have been received m held in Wellington severaJ months ago Auckland as the result of a oonfereilce between representatives of the traraauthorities and the empJoj'ees throughout the Dominion. It is understood the regulations eontain many proposals which the tramway men have advocated since 1910. wheii the lramways Amendment Act was mtroduced. The principal clauses relate to more efficient headlights, the fitting of tramcars with wiudscreen wipers, aud "proteetion of the drivev's visiou against direet brilliant lightiug, whet-her natural or artificial."
